the drive in front of his headlights and disappear into the woods. I have tried moving home and living in my grandparents' house in Blackwell MO. Several times but I start having nothing but ''bad luck''. I strongly believe that Blackwell is ''cursed'' and my grandparents' house is haunted.

I also have lived in the area of Blackwell MO my father was born and raised there I have hunted there and fished off the rock to the right of the bridge for many years. I have also fished in the Blackwell Park near the ''boat launch'' my aunt lived in the old bank.

I have many relatives there. I know that not all of the area is privately owned and as far as ''high tech'' devices or measures there if a shotgun or a threat is ''high tech'' to you you are living in the 1800s.
I have heard the stories of the Masonic lodge I have spent the night with cousins that lived in the old hotel when it was still standing. Strange things did happen and we could hear creepy sounds at night but I never really believed in haunted places or ghosts.
I'm not calling anyone a liar or story teller. I have also had an experience with a large cat we thought was a panther scared the hell out of me. I will not go into detail though. I will tell you this my father has told me many stories about when he was a child living in Blackwell I will not go down there at night unless I am with a group of people (lol).
