Blackwell has a history of sighting of ghost that I have not seen yet and I do not want to my grandmother is in her 90's and says remembers when people would come down to the old bridge she never knew why new why she siad that she could see the lanterns shining through the trees.
Some hot morning when she woke up in the morning she would smell a fowl odor but never was curios. She got the urge to godown there and take a peak and there was foot prints and some rope. Ever since then I always had had the weird feeling about that place.

I recently went to Blackwell with a few friends and our parents we did what we were supposed to as told in the old legend... 'blink your light 3 times and together say come and get me three times as well' after we did that we all got out of the car apparently you are supposed to hear bodies hitting the water below the Blackwell bridge on upper Blackwell road.
We stood there looking in to the water when finally my mom through her monster can in to the water as she said ''come, and get me'' then just about five minutes later we heard something that sounded like someone jumping in to the water beneath us I looked at my friends just to make sure it wasn't one of those crazy boys that fell or jumped in to the water.
It wasn't then we heard it over and over like tons of bodies being dropped in to the water. So we looked up the old Blackwell legend from my friend iPhone when we boarded back in to the car. The legend stated ''when you hear bodies hitting the water because a long time ago the priests would hang people from the bridge, and cutt the wire so the bodies would fall in to the water'' shortly after that we went walking along the train tracks there hasn't been a train on those tracks in over 70 years and we saw the train no joke.
