I state for the record that I am highly educated and have not seen nor believe in ghosts. I am approximately sixty years old and have lived in Florence for over twelve years. Two weeks ago I had my front door open to get better reception on my mobile phone. I saw something on my front porch. It scared me to death as it was a floating aberration of a woman in a flowing gown of about twenty years of age. She was translucent and came from my right and

stopped for about twenty seconds staring straight at me. For a moment I was astonished. She departed at about the speed of a humming bird. Five seconds

later she came back from the left to gaze at me. Again I was astonished. She once again departed in a flash. This was hard for me to absorb what had just happened. I looked at my watch, and it was just after midnight.
They held and sold slaves at the old general store. There was a tree in front of the ambush saloon that is now just a remnant of what used to be the old hanging tree. The old general store still has old iron clasps in the basement
