I walked into the living room for a second and stopped when I heard someone above me upstairs running across the floor. (it was a two-story house. ) it sounded just like a little kid running around.
The weird thing was that I could hear the footsteps go from one part of the house to another but there was no way someone could run in that direction because there was a bedroom wall in the way! Everybody was yelling at me to come back into the kitchen

but I said ''wait there's someone upstairs! '' I could still hear this person running around.
And they said ''no everyone is right here! '' so

I went upstairs real quick and looked but there was nobody there. It was really weird and I have no idea what it was.
