My daughter and I was sitting in the lobby one evening at Mount Washington Senior Living which was the first grade school that was built in Independence and we heard a woman moaning my daughter jumped up to see what it was and she walked on the other side. I got up and looked all around on my side and we see nothing.
She was so upset she had to go outside and smoke and when she went outside I heard the money to get in the hair stood up on my arms

and I had goose bumps all over me. Don't know what it is but I'm not the only person in this building that has heard it.

I was driving to work one morning around 4:30 am. Heading west on Truman Road. I just passed Van Horn High School going down the hill at the bottom of the hill walking from were the old castle was. I saw a shadow man walk across the road to the cemetery.
It was solid black; it was a void. It had body, arms, and legs, moved as it walked across in front of me.

I have seen plenty of them, and it first started in Independence near Mount Washington Cemetery. At first it was only music playing, and I could hear all the words. It eventually turned into seeing them. I saw a pirate flash before my eyes decked out in old pirate attire. It was so scary I jumped up screaming. I started hearing them eventually. It isn't a joke. They latched on to me somehow. I could see them; they were transparent as you could see through them, but they had vivid form and spoke often.
