Just moved into a very old house. I haven't seen any ghosts yet but I'm clearly not alone here. The light in my living room has as fader on it. I like the light at full power so that's where I leave it.
More than once I've found the fader mmoved down to exactly one third power. Ironically that's the same place it was set to when I was shown the house. The landlord moved it during the showing to a different spot but it right back to that same place the day I moved in.

Hey, what about the Anderson house, a Civil War house and battleground. Many men fell there during this bloody battle, and many more died in the house as it was used as a military hospital and prison.
