I have sometimes seen an old biplane coming in for landing at the airfield. It looks like he's trying to land on the grass next to the paved landing strip. Right before he touches down he vanishes. Am I the only one who has seen this? I would love to find out what this apparition might be.

How can I find history on this area and if there have been any plane crashes that match this sighting. I'm thinking that maybe the fact that the plane goes for the grass next to the runway might be because the airfield used to be grass before the paved strip was added? I don't know but I hope someone can fill me in.

I've been there, and the experience me and my friends had was so unbelievable. If I wouldn't have been there, I would have thought it was all a lie.
