It was a normal summer night in Sullivan county during the summer of 2001. We were heading to a birthday party on highway o outside of Newtown MO. It was not going to be a late night because of a scheduled basketball tournament the following day.
As we drove through the country roads keeping our eyes open for the party I saw what I can only think now was a ghost on the side of the road. As we came around a corner there was a very solid yet completely

I told myself it was. We had to turn around because we felt we were going the wrong way and sure enough...
There it was again. After we learned we were going the right way the first time we turned around yet again. This time it was not there. I could not figure out exactly what I had seen that night but I did receive some comfirmation while in a friends dorm room telling ghost stories the following semester.
This friend was from near Newtown
