There was no one in the building at the time ghost hunters have been there and said the place wasn't haunted. I on the other hand have proof.

Poor farm is also a local bar for many residents that live there. I have been in this bar and there is definitely an settling feeling there. The bar is located in the basement of the old building. The building from what I have heard has been a hospital and at another time an insane asylum and also a orphanage not really sure about that one thought but the others for sure.

Mentioning about the poor farm in Osceola Missouri. To answer that question no it is not open to the public. It is private property. No nobody is allowed to go through it at all. I have been through there but cannot and will not divulge any information except to say that yes the place is haunted.
However the entire town of Osceola Missouri is haunted in my opinion.
