About thirty years later I was given permission to go back to that floor by the staff at Hays and looked around. The bench was still there but had been cut down and was only lying on the floor. Though broad daylight it still felt creepy. Just a few years back around Halloween mother and I picked up a free newspaper with an article about the Hays Music store haunting and come to find out there is another area of the store that is haunted, or more

likely demon possessed. Something about a display with an old vinyl album, I believe but am not too clear on that story now.

This house sets off at the end of County Road 4416. It was built by Stan Buffington and his wife as their dream home. It is nothing but a haunted home! I and my sons heard doors slam, disembodied voices, footsteps down the hallway, toilet flushes, and music that ended if entered the back bedroom. None of us knew or talk about our experiences till we moved!.
