I worked at the ice plant in downtown Sedalia on main St. Many people told me it was haunted I enjoy unknown things so I always paid attention to them. I would take pallots of ice up a creepy old elevator and into a freezer about 3 floors up.
I always notice that 'creepy' feeling and felt I was followed. So I started whistling different tunes as I walked through the old facility. One day it was extra cold in the top freezer room and I whistled for a while and stopped suddenly and just expected it to happen.

Something finished the song I whistled.. Do do do... So crazy. Then the round valves on the ammonia lines would turn on there own. Even the maintenance guy said that the ghosts turn the valves and will do so right in front of you.

They did. After working there for about 3 months the guys kept telling me stories about the old liquor and beer business that was there back in the cows and hooker times of Sedalia. They claim that the company had 3 owners who all met terrible deaths inside the old building.
Every day got weirder but one day I was in the back of the building by the railroad tracks we would hear trains rumble by but not see a train anywhere. I was throwing blankets in the back room (big blankets we put over the ice during deliveries) and had an odd feeling race up my body.
Something told me to step forward... And I didn't hesitate. As soon as I stepped one pace forward a chunk of concrete 3 foot wide fell from the ceiling. It smashed on the floor right behind me into 3 large pieces.
