I do not know if the entity was human, animal, or demonic. It looked like a swirling black mass. I suspect that it was someone who was killed on the road as the area looked like an older road used to be closer to the hotel, but it is impossible to say what the entity was or why it was there.

Comment by Sara: I have lived in Sedalia most of my life and cannot figure out where you are talking about. What is the T.E Lodge? Do you perhaps mean Bothwell Lodge or Bothwell Hotel?.

I haven't been to Sedalia in about a year but I remember I used to live on McVey and I used to always pass a house on Ingram that is abandoned. Supposedly about 3-4 years ago (maybe more) the man who lived there killed his whole family and then hanged himself in the front yard.
Everybody says they still walk the grounds and especially the man can sometimes be seen in the upstairs window.
