This is not a sighting, but at the corner of West Market and Washington Street a house (which is caddy-cornered from the jail that was made into separate apartments, and it had some activity. Downstairs I would often hear a demonic growl/roar. At the apartment in the back and upstairs lights flickered on and off, but only when someone would enter the room. Also deaths have happened in almost every dormitory on campus, so not just Deemer Hall is haunted.

At 11:57 one Monday night in August I was driving east on North St. when I saw a human figure running across the road from north to south. The figure ran from the front yard of a house across the street and into the park.
When I stopped my car to look for the figure there was nobody there. While the figure was running I could not identify any head legs or arms; only a white torso section which looked about like a white t-shirt.
It gave me goose bumps and I immediately rushed the rest of the way home.
