We purchased a building that was once a furniture store and before that, a morgue to house our pharmacy/coffee shop. Many hours were spent getting our new venture into shape. I spent many a long night into the early morning hours there learning to make espresso, latte, smoothies, frappes, decorating, cleaning and learning about ice machines and restaurant equipment, and moving around furniture. One very late night as I rushed through the kitchen area

into the pharmacy heading for the coffee shop, I saw someone sitting in the little waiting area of the pharmacy. The doors were locked, and I was alone.

The time was probably between 1 am and 2 am. What I saw was an elderly man with steel grey hair. He had his hands folded behind his head, and he was wearing long magenta suited pants with his leg crossed over the other at the knee. He wore an entire magenta colored suit. I believe he had a handkerchief in his breast pocket. He was not threatening or scary to me.
I stopped, stared, shook my head, and rushed into the coffee shop. Then I looked back,
