We live near Fairbury High School. My parents and grandparents are from here, so we know this town really well. My grandfather always has a good stories about his old days in Fairbury to tell us, and one of them is a ghost story he said back the area where the high school is now is really haunted.
He and his Friends would sneak out late at night and walk around provoking and looking for ghosts. One night three of them went out and were sitting and

talking right about where the track of the high school is right now.
They hear a male voice saying ''leave now''. They couldn't see the person, just
|
the voice. Then it repeated again ''leave now''. My grandpa and his Friends didn't wait to find out. They left right away.
He said when he mentioned this to other people they all claimed they had heard the same thing as well.
