Comment by WM: I'm from Stanton, and I have been told many times by my family that live in an area around the bridge that it is all made up. My great grandpa put whistling bottles in the trees out there to scare teens going out there and drinking. I've been out there recently, and there is no whistle anymore because there are no trees from a tornado that ripped through there, and there is no bridge. My grandpa also worked for the people who owned the land for a while and told me the same thing that his dad put them up there.
