I moved into my very first home in the older side of Atkins. I was very excited to start a life with my partner, soon to be married. Everything was fine for a little while, but then we started hearing things like thumps in the house at night. Then it progressed to doors opening or closing on their own. We would hear music that sounded like old fashioned music that was played when there was no talking on TV, just the music. We started having things disappear

and reappear in other rooms or never seeing the item again. The locked doors would be opened. The dishwasher would start washing on its own.

started the research to get any information on what happened there. Several people in the area already knew about the houses and its stories, so that explained why we got a lot of looks when we moved in. Everyone knew but us. After nine to ten months living in the house we decided to put it on the market. It sold within a few days which was a huge relief.
