Two men were hanged on this bridge back in 1883. The ghost of the two men are often seen hanging from ropes and also at times have been seen pacing back and forth across the 100 foot span. Creepy due to the fact the old wood floor is long gone.
I have received reports of this activity from various hunters and fishermen. All reports indicate white glowing figures and the bridge makes a creaking noise caused by movement of the old iron joints in the bridge.

Comment by Barbara: One of those men was my great great grandfather. I am planning a trip soon from Texas, and I hope that I will see him. He did not deserve what happened on that bridge.
