In 1998 I had moved to Arkansas by way of Eugene, Oregon. I can't remember the name of the brick apartments we lived in. However, one evening about an hour removed from turning in for the night, I was sitting on the couch, reflecting. I looked over toward the kitchen on my left, and I saw a girl ghost in a white gown with ratty unkempt hair. She was about ten years old with a distortedly large frown mouth - like when you stick your fingers in both corners

of your mouth and pull down. Also, she had angry piercing eyes. She was carrying a baby doll, the kind teenagers practice motherhood with. She was just

standing there, looking at me?
After I caught her gauze she slowly proceeded walking towards the couch on which I'd been sitting. This took about twenty seconds. I was scared frozen, until she reached the corner of the couch. At that juncture in time I was able to jump up and run out the front door of the apartment. She's the only ghost I've ever seen which I couldn't explain away with either research or elaborate rationale. It so happened the doll
