Faucets would come on as we sat in the bathtub together, hot and cold side full blast. The door knob to the front door would twist wildly. I would bolt to the door from the couch just feet away to see who might be breaking in, and no one would be there time and again. Toys would rustle in the kids' room for almost a minute, and many of our friends heard this with us when the kids were gone, and we were entertaining.

I used to live in this house on Collette off of Mission in Fayetteville. The house there on the corner is extremely haunted. I hated living there. I had one friend who came over who claimed she saw an angel, but there were whispers through the vents and footsteps in the hall. My brother claims that he would see things when he would go to bed. Things would move, and there was always this dark presence there.
We actually had someone come into the house and try to get rid of the presence. It didn't leave but seemed less menacing after that. There used to be just a strip of woods that was across from the house. They built a neighborhood there now, but back when there was woods I would sometimes see this black figure that I can only be described as blacker than black. Just thinking about it to this day brings me to tears. I still won't go near that neighborhood.
