My father before he passed away lived off a private road of County Road 10. I would go and visit with him often. One night I was having trouble sleeping and had gone outside to smoke on the front porch. As I was sitting there mind you it was a still night, and there was no wind. All of a sudden this whirl of wind almost as if something was running along the tree, making the leaves in certain places as it went bustle about. Then it came down the front of

the porch and made the wind chime swing in a circular motion. It moved down through my hair and off into the vast darkness, and I could hear a little

girl's faint laughter. Then it was gone as quickly as it came.
However, it surely sent a shiver up my spine, and I went on back in the house. I never witnessed it again, but then I heard one of the neighbors talking of hearing a little girl laughing and playing off in the field beside my dad's late one night. It was way too late for any child to be out, but they never saw anyone. Anyone else hear anything or witness anything similar in Fouke?.
