Comment by Hunter: Sounds like you could use some help. Usually the spirit will leave hints about it's death. Have you heard whispering or has the spirit repeatedly touched the same object?.

We are living in this old house and there have been lots of activity and I have a way to the other side so it was no surprise that I began to hear, and see ghosts. Now I am thinking this is an old jail because I will hear chains and cowboy boots constantly and I refuse to go to the bathroom which is in down a hallway unless someone goes with me. I see an old time cop. I was scratched. Down my back were six scratch marks while I was in the kitchen and dining room area.
