My husband and I recently moved to a house in Harrison. We have lived here most of our lives. He went to school in Omaha and I in Western Grove. We finally had enough money saved to invest into our own house and move out of his parents apartment which was in the basement of their home.
We looked at several places but fell in love with an older yellow house. It had a fireplace a front porch and just said ''cozy'' all over it. We moved in immediately. The house was owned by an older woman who could no longer take care of herself and had to move to a nursing home.

She had lived there since the 80s. The room which used to be her bedroom had a strange smell to it that we could never put our finger on. It seemed to be like a musty smell.

I sprayed so much room spray in there and yet it came back within a few days. We agreed on getting new carpet put in and still the smell remained. We decided to make that room our guest room and just not worry about it until we had a guest over.
After getting everything moved in and spending the first night on our own we noticed that we didn't seem to be alone in the house. As I was getting ready for bed I heard knocking on the bathroom door.
I went to answer it thinking it was my husband and no one was there. I went out to see if he was playing some kind of joke on me and then I noticed he was outside talking to a neighbor. No way he could have done it.
