I was 3 miles out on Old Camden Trail. Stopped my car and looked in the side rearview mirror, saw a soldier leaning against my car smoking a cigarette so I gassed it.

I as a kid lived in this house down on 13 Ave. down by the mill. Me an my brother saw a little boy in our rocking chair blood red, and he was reading a book. When I turned the light on he would disappear. When I turned it back off he would be there. We did that three times. Then on the last time the little boy looked up at us and smiled. We ran out and didn't go back in that room.

We lived on W. Main Street in Leola a year ago and when my son stayed in the small bedroom he said a little girl would crawl in bed with him at night. He said she didn't talk, only laid beside him. When we asked where she lived he gave us directions to the cemetery.

Comment by mrs.joyner: There are many events my family and myself can tell of. I am from Leola. Did she ever speak her name or say which cemetery? And I used to play on the tracks.. I was there when the railroad stopped and the schools closed.. The stories I could share.
