I have heard from locals that around the state park during the Civil War that a slave was fighting for his freedom and got shot in the neck. The shot was so hard it popped the slave's head right off. Now there are still sounds of gunshots and there is the ghost of the slave walking around the tracks by the state park and if you get in his way he will haunt you till the day you die.
