I am not someone that believes in ghosts or paranormal as a general rule. This was a time I questioned my own beliefs. One night I was hunting out in Wolf Pen Gap just leaning up against a tree on a hot day. It started getting dark, and it seemed I was going to go home empty handed, so I decided to pack up and head home. When I got up I smelled this foul odor that was like an animal that had been rotting for a while. It was so bad that I nearly gagged.

I looked around and about forty yards away across a field on a rock was a creature.
This thing had long black hair all over it and seemed to be

floating about a foot off the ground. There were no legs at all. Then it just looked at me and stretched out these arms out front and came at me quiet fast. I felt this sense of dread was over me. I pulled up my gun and yelled ''stop, or I'll shoot.'' It just stopped, put its arms down, and began circling me as I walked back to my truck. When I got in and started the truck it was only about six feet away. I drove off and looked up one more time to see if
