Many years ago a friend and her husband purchased an old dairy farm in Paragould. It included a Victorian style two story house in which all of the sisters of the dairy farmer had lived until their death.
We had all heard rumors of it being haunted by the deceased sisters but didn't think much of it. That is until my friends purchased the house. The home had old style electrical push buttons for the lights.

There was a light at the top of the stairwell operated by two switches. One at the top of the stairs and one at the bottom and I was told the light refused to turn off. I said it was probably nothing more than an electrical short in one of the switches.

So I went over there to check it out. Sure enough the light was on and when you pushed the button to turn it off the other switch made a loud clack and would turn it back on. Something (or someone) was engaging the switches! The entire house had an odd feel about it and you always felt uneasy when there.
I was later told that my friend's husband was under the house one day doing some plumbing work when he heard walking on the floor above him. Thinking his wife had made it back home he went back up only to find the house empty! She told me that on several occasions objects in the kitchen would be thrown at her.
Needless to say they didn't spend much time there and found somewhere else to live.
