We were driving through Smithville from Black Rock to Cave City and we didn't know there was a road to bypass Smithville. We didn't know the area one bit and weren't prepared for what happened going through the tiny little town.
After we had passed the population sign there was this weird dense fog going down the little dip before actually entering the town. It looked creepy to begin with as we had seen nothing but fog. Driving through the town there

are homes and cars and obviously signs of human life but there were no porch lights on. There was no movement inside or outside the homes that we could
|
see.
We noticed the many tire pieces all over the road indicating that there may be a ton of blow outs along the road. It seemed odd to me that a town with any life would allow all these large tire pieces to remain in the road.
We had to swerve two or three times from hitting a huge piece of rubber from a tire. Along the way through at once all of the windows fogged up and we couldn't see anything. I had noticed on my window that it looked like finger
