I was lying in bed when my dad called me down and asked me to get him a cup of coffee. I went into the kitchen and made him some coffee, when it suddenly got very cold. I ignored it telling myself that I was once again being paranoid. But, when I got into the hallway near my dad's room, it got colder and colder, so I hurried into dad's room, shaking. He was at his coffee desk reading some papers. I was right behind him ready to hand him his coffee, when he suddenly jumped up making me spill the coffee. ''God, Lizzie! Don't scare me like that! Are you getting sick because your hand was freezing when you touched my shoulder?'' He said, looking a little concerned. I was so confused because I didn't touch his shoulder. But, I didn't say anything because he was under enough stress already. I just smiled at him and said ''I'll go get some towels to clean this mess up. Then I will make you some more coffee. '' I walked out as he sat settled back in at his desk. He slammed the door behind me. At that moment I realized he wasn't near enough to the door to close it.
