Back in the late 80s when I was a kid I used to go visit my cousin in Baker. One time he took me out to this haunted pond. If you threw a rock into the pond at the stroke of midnight a ghost would appear and hover in the air along the whole length of the pond. We threw the rock and the ghost did appear. It was real. It was a man. He was see-through and cloudy looking but you could make it out well. My cousin told me that later they built a bridge across

the pond and after that it didn't work any more. I remember the pond and there would be no reason at all to build a bridge across it unless the whole
