My mom and uncles grew up on a farm north of Dunn. There was a very old abandoned house on the neighboring back property that belonged to some friends of my grandparents. My mom would tell me they would see lights on in it and people moving around. I wasn't sure whether to really believe it until my grandfather told me he had seen it himself. My grandparents moved to Delhi in the 60s, and the old house was torn down way before then, so who knows?

I believed it but never had the chance to check it out. The old farmhouse seemed a little creepy to me when I was young but nothing in particular. My

grandfather tore it down when I was a teenager, and I don't remember much about it. My grandfather continued to farm the old place until he was in his 80s and supervised renters into his 90s. Both places were sold when my grandfather passed in 2006.

I'm a 15 year old young man and I live about a mile away from Delhi Lane, and there is a ghost that scared me one night. Whenever my daddy was little they had an old man that drank and drove really fast on curvy roads.
