We live in Ormond in Destrehan. Before we bought our home an older man lived and died there. My family renovated the house and moved in. About 15 years ago when I still lived at home I would wake up in the middle of the night and see a man's figure standing in the doorway of my bedroom. What was so odd was I never felt scared, but I am the type of person who would freak out easily.
My mother would say she could hear hushed voices talking at night

and would think someone was on the phone in another room. When she would check on everyone, the entire family was sound asleep, but she could still hear

the voices.
One night my mom had just looked around for the voices only to find everyone asleep, but as she left one bedroom and walked into the hall, she saw just the legs of someone go around the corner. She ran to catch up, but no one was there.
Several people in our family and visitors to our house have felt someone sit down on the edge of the bed while they were sleeping or before they fell asleep at night. People have also told us
