As a young girl my family moved from Baton Rouge into a large old home off of Interstate 51 in Fluker. One side of the home had been previously burned down and rebuilt earlier. It sat on many acres that led deep into the woods where my sister and I would find arrowheads and even what seemed to be a small 'slave cabin' off to the side of the house. I am not sure of the history exactly, but I know we were not alone there. The constant feeling of being watched

accompanied by strange sounds was just the beginning. My sister's room was part of the area that had been rebuilt. One day I came walking into the kitchen

for a late afternoon snack when I saw out of the corner of my eye what I thought was my dad standing in front of the fridge. I opened a cabinet asking him what he was looking for. When I turned around, no one was there. I ran into my mother's room where she then told me that my dad was not even at home.
The attic was the entire second story of the house where we found old relics and antiques from the prior tenants of many years ago. It is said that spirits
