Back in 1999-2000 we lived in a house that had been turned into 3 apartments at the corner of Cate Street Park. Our apartment had a little fenced in alleyway alongside of it. My 3-year-old daughter slept in the bedroom that had a door (no longer useable) that opened into that little ''yard''. She would often tell me that a man was looking through the door at her or that a man was looking in her window, which did face the street and sidewalk. She said that

he wasn't nice to her. For a good while we chalked it up to a child's imagination or her wanting to sleep in our bed.
However, one night we figured

out she wasn't lying. She came running into the living room saying she wanted me to come see the man, so my boyfriend and I both got up and went into her room. Sure enough through the blinds you could see a man standing in front of her window peeking in. My boyfriend and three of his friends ran outside to see who was peeking in on my baby, but there was nobody there. You could hear leaves crunching and see them moving, but there wasn't a soul anywhere
