Ghosts of slaves are all over this area and Heflin is no exception. I have witnessed ghosts myself and I know others have as well. With such an evil past what else could one expect.

These are now ghost, real people who have died unexpectedly without anyone every acknowledging the loss of life. These souls can't rest because of the injustice they suffer. There are many slaves who died in this region and they plan on haunting this place until there is justice manifested.
