I visited the Confederate cemetery with some friends and we played Dixie and heard something whistle it back too us. We also heard footsteps and the distant sounds of what sounded like cannon fire and a bugle call that sounded a cavalry charge. The ironic part of that is that some of the graves are marked ''10th Missouri Cav. CSA''.

Keatchie, Louisiana is known for being a very old town with old buildings and old cemeteries. But one particular place is known for numerous tales of ghost activity. In Keatchie there is an old Confederate Civil War cemetery with many graves of the northern and southern soldiers of which many graves are unmarked with no tombstones.

The city graveyard next to it is in disrepair and graves collapsing in on the caskets at points. If you look hard you can see the casket itself. One evening about six pm a friend and myself decided to go take a look and see for ourselves of ghostly figures and voices heard in there after dark.
As we were walking around we found above the ground grave in particular, many years old with fresh flowers on the grave. My friend picked up one of the flowers only to find at the end of the stem droplets of blood falling, he dropped it and backed away.

Comment by Ron: While visiting relatives on our way home to Phoenix my wife and I visited this cemetery with her cousin. We visited on 1-4-2013, a frigid and blustery day to pay respect to the Confederate soldiers and found the Civil War portion well kept and eerily quiet. A sense of foreboding came over me as I crossed into the much older civilian ground and quickly made a hasty retreat back to the car where my wife and her cousin had gone earlier.
No one commented on the cemetery as we drove around Keatchi and photographed the historic mansions in town. I won't go back to the cemetery.
