I was bartending at a small local bar in-between Moss Bluff and Westlake called Sams Cove it was a little after 2am when I heard a woman's voice that came from a corner seat at the bar but the bar was completely empty.
The owner of the bar later that morning came in and asked how the night went I told her about the voice she told me I was only one of two bartenders who have heard the voice. She said the woman would only talk to young good looking male bartenders.

It definitely creeped me out.

I was invited to a party at a home on pujo very close to 1st Baptist church. There were a lot of people there. I went into the kitchen looking for napkins because they were out on the serving table. There was a large black woman in the kitchen putting things away and asked me if I needed something.
When I explained what I was after she told me where to find them in the back pantry. I went back and got them but when I came back through the kitchen to thank her she wasn't there. As I left the kitchen back into the dining room our hostess met me and asked if she could help me.
I told her that the lady cleaning up in the kitchen was much help. I just remember her eyes got wide and said you saw nannie she explained that she had no help and the woman I saw was a cook in the home many years ago called nannie.
