I lived in a 100 year old house on Kirby Street in lake Charles. It has a very strange story behind the family that originally built it. It was abandoned suddenly for seemingly no reason it stayed like this for a number of years.
A couple of decades later we moved in when I was about 5. While living in the house I had several odd experiences. I woke up one night to hear what sounded like a cup of pencils I had fall but when I woke up the next morning I found the cup had not fell.

Another incident was one night I was laying in bed when suddenly my bed jolted like it would if someone had jumped on it. Later after we had moved out and I was older my parents shared experiences that my sister had also had in the house while she was home alone.

She had heard children running up and down the stairs the piano would play by itself and a lamp was thrown off of a table and broke. I never felt comfortable in that house. It is the third house on the left if you are coming from the police station headed down Kirby it is a two story white house with huge columns.

Comment by anonymous: Dude, there are people who lived in that house that went on the news. They found human remains in a back shop, that house is creepy to everyone.
Comment by Sun: It's 102x Kirby Street for those interested. Huge four car garage/shop in the back where human remains were discovered years back.
