entire area from Lecompte to Western-Woodworth. Chickamaw Road in Lecompte gave me chills when driving it at night every time. You can also access that road from LA112 right outside of the small town. It's a long curvy country road in BFE. People have died on a particular curve on that road that you will know when you see. There is also Camp Claiborne just South of Woodworth off Highway 165 headed towards Forest Hill. It was once the third largest town

in Louisiana during the Second World War. It now lies abandoned.
There are miles of unmarked and old roads that lie in those woods. If you don't

know someone who knows the area or you don't have a satellite GPS, and you go there, you will get lost. There is no signal throughout much of the territory. The remnants of the town, bunkers, and what is known as ''the Ice-house'' are in there. I've never seen the extent of the Camp or been to see the bunkers. I've only been out there a few times to do some mud riding. One guy I knew said he saw the apparition of an old WW2 POW strung up in that Ice-house.
