When I was a kid I lived with my grandparents in a small house in Mandeville. One night I was sleeping in my grandparents' bed, and I saw a man standing in the doorway looking into our room from the kitchen. I tried waking my grandparents, and only my grandfather woke up. The man didn't go away. He stayed there and moved in toward the room. My grandfather saw it and held me closely as if trying to protect me. He was a police officer, so his first response

was to yell ''who's there?'' Then it just disappeared. I had seen the man many times after that, and my grandparents still live there.

26xx Lakeshore Dr. Mandeville, La on the lakefront is haunted. The Nott house is haunted and it's covered up.

Comment by Lenore: I used to live on Rosedown Way as a kid. The house I lived in had a creature in it with no eyes. It would haunt me in the back bedroom at least twice a year. Hauntings stopped for me when we moved, so it may still be attached. We think someone was messing with a Ouija board near our house when it was just woods and two houses in the early 1990s, and they didn't know what they were doing and summoned some bad stuff.
