My aunt an uncle own a small cottage house in Mandeville, LA. I was 5yrs old. I woke up in middle of the night scared. I saw a ghost of a man, he was at least 6ft. tall with a confederate uniform. He just kept looking at me. Like he was protecting me from someone.... And then he went away. .

I've seen a spirit rise out of Lake Pontchartrain in the very early hours of the morning. Right down on Lakeshore Drive I was sitting on a bench and I saw a figure rise out of the lake. I don't really know what it was. Maybe an angel?.
