I heard from my coworkers who grew up here in that a wooded area on Gibbs Street is haunted so I decided to drive by at night to see if I could see anything. I was told that at night a hitchhiker ghost could be seen waiting for a ride at the curve wearing a dark red shirt and blue jeans.
Sometimes it appears as female and sometimes male but always in red and blue jeans clothing. That one night as I was driving and as got close to the curve where the road is

turning I saw on the side a figure of someone wearing a red shirt and dark pants.
I couldn't actually see if he or she was wearing blue jeans. I turned

to grab my cell phone from the passenger seat hoping to grab some pictures. I looked again and the figure was nowhere to be found.
I am very certain I saw someone standing there. I didn't stop to look for the ghost. I was too scared. Next time I'll bring a friend.
