Folklore has it there is a headless Native with a lantern looking for his head at Double Bridges on Caples Road in southwest Ouachita Parish. My cousins and I were there in the 1970s one night walking along Caples Road, and we saw a bright white light and heard a clicking noise moving down the creek bank. When we tried to get closer the dark image let out a scream, and the white light streaked away. Then it was out of sight. We ran back to the road!.

I live in one of my dad's camp houses at the Ouachita river out past Luna. I visited a cemetery that is in a road behind my dad's house. It's very old and in the country. One night while at home I turned the light off to go to bed. Before I got in the bed a blue ball of light that was as big as a basketball flashed in my house. I thought it was a barge light but opened the front door, and there was no lights or anything. It was a full moon, and moonlight shone on the river. I started to close the door again, and the blue light flashed again. Then a foot long cord looking thing that looked like fire floated in mid air in front of my face. I ran next door. I have several pictures and videos of paranormal images in my house. .

As a little girl my family and I lived in a trailer park called Colony West. As I grew up I have seen a little girl and a mother. For years the little girl was my friend. Until one night the mother got so angry she threw a lap tray across the house.
