My mother-in-law owns a house on the Levy close to downtown. While staying there I have seen a woman in the house next door that looks like a ship (Texas and s grand) walking in a long flowing white dress looking out of the windows towards the Ouachita river(always very late at night after midnight.
Keep in mind it was empty every-time this happened and very dark). It was supposedly built by her husband who was a ship captain that died on the river. T really want to investigate it for EVP's apparitions etc but will need to get permisiion from the new owners.

Comment by Jay: Many have also commented of a baby that cries upstairs in that Cooley house as well.... While driving with my daughter we have seen someone female standing in the windows upstairs late at night .... Even though no one has lived there for some time. I live nearby too.
