I think it was in 1952 if I remember it correctly. That was when Terry Coleman went missing in the woods north of town. I was just a kid but I remember they went out looking for him and found him dead from a blow to the head.
Could've been murder but he could've just fallen and hit his head real bad. Either way Terry has been haunting the woods ever since he died. When we were kids we would go out there and dare him to show himself.

out the other day. I was a bit worried in case someone saw me, a 70 year old man yelling insults at nothing in the forest, they'd probably think I finally lost it and lock me up.
Well I did anyway and lo and behold, a stick came flying. He's still there.
