In 1981 I was working at Sonic. I got off at 2 am one morning. I stayed over the bridge on Jacob Street. As I began to cross the bridge, I noticed a young white lady approaching me. As we met near the center of the bridge, I spoke to the young lady. As she turned to look at me, I saw that you had a blank and painful look on her face. She never said a word. This course made the hair stand up on on arms. I began to run.

store, I looked back. She was still standing on the bridge looking back at me. I turned to look again and she was gone. The thing was that this young

lady had on a brilliant white gown beautiful groomed black hair and no shoe on. The next day I read the Plaquemine post and discovered that this young lady had been buried earlier that day in the cemetery going down towards down the bayou.

At the end of Court Street if you go up on the levee late at night and look out over the water you can kind of see silhouettes of people under the water. It's like shadows of people. I tried to take pictures of it but there's no way to photograph it.
