In 1985 we lived on Vance Street in Alexandria, LA in the downstairs section of a duplex. Right away (day one) there was a closet in the hall that I was terrified of opening. I just couldn't bring myself to open it no matter how much I wanted.
There was such dread and a feeling of incredible evil. Anyway my daughter was 2 1/2 and my son 1 when my son became sick with a severe respiratory infection. My little girl came to me and said in her sweet innocent

voice, mama why does that lady come to see Brentt every night? I ask what she meant and she said there was a lady in white who would come and stand over
|
his bed and look at him.
She said the lady didn't try to touch him only look. My daughter who is now in her 30s remembers the visits like they were yesterday. Years later my mother who had visited us in that house ask me if I knew that house was haunted.
I was floored because I had never told her about anything ghost related. When asked why she thought the house was haunted she said ''she felt something evil in the hallway and in the bathroom''.
