I was a little girl when my family lived in a house in Rayville on N. Louisa Street. We used to always hear footsteps in the house, and doors would open and close by themselves. Light bulbs would dim constantly, and the most common ghost we all saw was that of a tall thin man dressed in a black suit with a top hat on. He would always descend into the floor in the basement.
Later my dad said the man he bought the house from told him there was a man

that was buried in the basement. If this is true, then I'm really freaked out about it. My mom sold the house, and the people turned it into a daycare.

I hope those kids didn't experience what we did when we lived there, but it's an old Victorian home, so there is a lot of history there. The house is over 100 years old.
