If you go all the way down Hawks Road through the four-ways and follow the road and make a left at the Olliville Baptist Church sign, turn left the first road on the right is Carl Thompson road. A baby that was kidnapped and thrown into the river.
The house that it happened in is there and people are living in it. There is even a marker for the baby. Anyways, if you go a bit further down to Hawks Bridge (a very popular hangout for teenagers

) it's said the baby if you go down there drunk it will drag you under the water and drown you.
Some people even claim they have seen the 2 year old

walking along the bridge looking over. I heard this story from my parents and we as kids go there all the time trying to catch of glimpse of him.
Many people have died in that River, all of them have been drunk.

I live in Rosepine and my grandparents grew up there.. I've heard a lot about an infant that was supposedly kidnapped and thrown into the river. The babies remains were never found.
