I've lived in Altus my whole life and I've never seen a ghost but there's something that's been haunting me since I was a kid. It always happens around three in the morning. And it only happens at times when I'm so terrified I start hyperventilating.
It will lay beside me in my bed. It just lays there staring at me. Then right before it leaves it laughs. I've never heard something so chilling and cold as that thing's laugh before it leaves.

It only stays a few nights though.
Then it's gone. Every time is comes it gets closer and closer to me. And then the most recent one happened. I was

laying in my bed again terrified of my very loud neighbors when I felt the bed dip beside me.
At first I though it was one of my cats but it was too big to be a cat. It's about the same length as me and I'm a little overs five and a half feet tall. I kept my eyes tightly closed fearing that if I looked it would kill me.
I though it would do the usual bit; stare at me for an hour laugh and leave. That's not what happened. It laid there staring
